4-Day Mid-Range to Calving, Crater and Tarangire Safari

You will be picked up from your accommodation and transferred to Southern Serengeti. Spend the afternoon on your first game drive, exploring the vast plains dotted with acacia trees and kopjes. Observe grazing herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, while predators like lions and cheetahs follow the herds. Enjoy a picnic or hot lunch in the bush. Return to your mid-range lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight, soaking in the sights and sounds of the Serengeti.

Full day in Southern Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Track the seasonal wildebeest migration and spot large herds with predators in pursuit. Explore diverse habitats, from open grasslands to riverine areas, offering excellent wildlife visibility. Enjoy a bush lunch amidst the dramatic scenery. Return to your mid-range lodge or tented camp in Southern Serengeti for dinner and overnight, reflecting on a day filled with iconic wildlife encounters.

After breakfast, leave the Ndutu area and enjoy a scenic game drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive and enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.

Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. After exploring the crater, ascend and continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast at your lodge, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Enjoy a rewarding game drive through its beautiful landscapes of open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and iconic baobab trees. Keep an eye out for the park’s large elephant herds, as well as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and a variety of bird species.
