4-Day Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Your exciting adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Mto wa Mbu. From there, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Spend the day exploring the park's diverse landscapes and witnessing its incredible wildlife, including zebras, lions, giraffes, and a wide variety of bird species. After a thrilling day of game drives, you'll head to your accommodation for the night. If you’ve chosen a lodge or those opting for camping will settle into their tented camps as per the itinerary for an overnight stay and dinner, where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of Africa.

After an early breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive across the Serengeti’s vast savannahs, where you may witness the Great Migration (depending on the time of year), as well as encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, and countless other species. In the evening, you’ll unwind at your selected accommodation. Here, you can absorb the magical Serengeti sunset as you reflect on the day's incredible wildlife encounters.

The day begins with an early breakfast before setting off on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. You'll explore the park's vast plains, looking for predators like lions and cheetahs in the cool morning light and spotting herds of wildebeest and zebra. As the sun rises higher, you continue to traverse diverse habitats, from grassy savannahs to rocky kopjes, with ample opportunities for wildlife and bird watching. A packed lunch will be taken at a scenic location in the park, offering you a break while still surrounded by the beauty of the Serengeti. In the afternoon, the game drive continues, offering the final views of the park's incredible wildlife and landscape. Later, you leave the Serengeti and drive towards Ngorongoro. After checking in and enjoying the breathtaking views, enjoy a relaxed dinner at the Lodge or Camp before spending the night.

On the final day of your safari, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera and a haven for wildlife. This unique ecosystem is home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo) and a rich variety of other species. Enjoy a half-day game drive through the crater’s diverse landscapes, from grassy plains to lush wetlands, and marvel at the abundant wildlife concentrated within this natural wonder. After a memorable morning in the crater, you’ll drive back to Arusha, where your unforgettable 4-day safari will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.
