1 Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arusha - Tarangire National Park Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

At around 06:30, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival around 09:00, begin your morning game drive through the park’s open savannahs, river valleys, and ancient baobab forests, with opportunities to spot large elephant herds and other wildlife. Around 12:30, enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s scenic picnic sites overlooking the Tarangire River. At 13:30, continue with an afternoon game drive exploring different areas of the park, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, ostriches, and numerous bird species. Around 16:00, leave Tarangire and begin the journey back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of the day’s safari.
