Day 1 Marangu Village Hiking & Cultural Tour Main Destination: Moshi

After breakfast, your Kiwia Africa Tours guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Marangu Village. Once there, we begin walking through the green countryside, passing banana and coffee farms while enjoying views of the surrounding hills. Along the way, you’ll meet local Chagga people and learn about their daily life, traditions and farming. We’ll visit a local coffee area where you can see how coffee is prepared and enjoy a fresh cup. Depending on the day's conditions, we can also walk to a nearby waterfall and spend some time enjoying the natural surroundings. After a local lunch, we take a relaxed walk back through the village before driving to Moshi in the afternoon.
