1 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arusha Town to Napuru Waterfalls Main Destination: Arusha
Napuru Waterfalls, (also known asTemi Waterfalls or Meru Waterfalls). Hike to the Mysterious Napuru waterfalls, a wild nature trail that follows the river to where the waterfall is located, locally named by Maasai ‘NAVURU’ with 78m high. At an altitude of 1760 m.a.s.l. this is a beautiful waterfall on the slopes of mount Meru and is part of the early stages of the Temi River, that flows through Arusha’s city centre and into its southern outskirts. The hike will lead you to experience the pristine nature of a tropical rainforest. To get to the waterfall, you will have to climb down a slope to reach the stream bed and then continue up the stream until we reach the waterfall. On the way you may see various forms of tropical wildlife, beautiful mossy rock formations with water dripping down from the cliffs, huge trees and nobody around, just you and the Jungle. Then, from between the rocky banks an enormous column of water will appear, 78 m high.
