Day 1 Full Day Tarangire National Park Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, your guide picks you up from your hotel or airport in Arusha or Karatu. From Arusha, enjoy a scenic drive of around two hours to the park gate; from Karatu, the drive is a little shorter. Enter Tarangire and set off on a game drive through its baobab-dotted plains and river valleys, searching for large elephant herds, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, and abundant birdlife. Around midday, enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at a scenic site in the park, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the bush. Continue your game drive through the afternoon, making the most of the park's wildlife and photographic opportunities, before exiting in the late afternoon and returning to your hotel in Arusha or Karatu in the evening, full of unforgettable safari memories.
