Day 1 Tarangire National Park Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Discover the wild beauty of Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks, famous for its giant baobab trees, vast savannah plains, and large elephant herds.
Tarangire is especially known for hosting one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes the main water source, attracting thousands of animals, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and various antelope species. Bird lovers will also enjoy spotting over 500 bird species found in the park.
After an exciting day of wildlife exploration, you will overnight at Fig Tree Lodge, a comfortable and welcoming lodge located in the beautiful highlands near Karatu. The lodge offers spacious rooms, warm hospitality, delicious meals, and a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature—the perfect place to unwind after your game drive.
Day 2 Ngorongoro Crater Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, proceed to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders.
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day game drive. The crater hosts an incredible density of wildlife within its enclosed ecosystem, offering excellent opportunities to see many animals.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor surrounded by stunning scenery before ascending and driving back to arusha airport then you will fly back to zanzibar, marking the end of your memorable 2-day safari adventure.
