With around 3,000 lions in the ecosystem, you're likely to spot these majestic creatures as they lounge under trees, often resting for up to 20 hours a day. Today, you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world, for a full-day game drive to spot wildlife. This stunning natural wonder, known as Africa’s Garden of Eden, is a perfectly preserved volcanic caldera and a haven for diverse wildlife. Located 190km from Arusha, the crater offers an incredible landscape that includes grasslands, forests, and wetlands, all brimming with raw beauty.

Within this unique ecosystem, you’ll encounter over 25,000 large mammals, including leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many more. The crater’s permanent water sources sustain these resident animals, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing. After an exhilarating day exploring the crater, you’ll either return to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay or head straight to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
