After an early breakfast, your Golden Trips Tanzania driver-guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha. You'll embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for some exciting game viewing along the way. Serengeti is a vast, untamed wilderness that spans nearly 15,000 square kilometers of stunning plains, and is home to the nomadic Maasai people. The abundance of wildlife here will leave you in awe. The park is famous for its Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos—and is renowned for the spectacular annual wildebeest migration. After a thrilling day of wildlife viewing, you'll head to your lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 2 Day 2 - Full-day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park Main Destination: Serengeti National Park

The sounds of Africa gently wake you up, signaling the start of your exciting day. After freshening up, head to the main area for a hearty breakfast. Once you're ready, your driver-guide will pick you up and take you on a full-day game drive through the Serengeti. If you're an animal lover, the Serengeti is the place to be! This iconic park is home to the real-life versions of Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scar from *The Lion King*. With around 3,000 lions in the ecosystem, you're likely to spot these majestic creatures as they lounge under trees, often resting for up to 20 hours a day. As the afternoon draws to a close, you'll be driven back to your lodge to relax, enjoy a delicious dinner, and spend the night.

Day 3 Day 3 - Game Drive in the Ngorongoro Crater Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world, for a full-day game drive to spot wildlife. This stunning natural wonder, known as Africa’s Garden of Eden, is a perfectly preserved volcanic caldera and a haven for diverse wildlife. Located 190km from Arusha, the crater offers an incredible landscape that includes grasslands, forests, and wetlands, all brimming with raw beauty.

Within this unique ecosystem, you’ll encounter over 25,000 large mammals, including leopards, lions, black rhinos, hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and many more. The crater’s permanent water sources sustain these resident animals, making it a prime location for wildlife viewing. After an exhilarating day exploring the crater, you’ll either return to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay or head straight to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight.
