3 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Dar Es Salaam to Udzungwa National Park Main Destination: Udzungwa Mountains National Park
Your adventure begins with a 04:00 pickup at your hotel in Dar Es Salaam, followed by a drive to Udzungwa National Park for a scenic walking trek up Udzungwa Mountain. During the trek, you'll explore the stunning Asanje Waterfalls and have the chance to see friendly wildlife along the way. The trek will last for approximately 3 hours. Afterward, you’ll drive to Mikumi and check in at Camp Bastian for a two-night stay on a full-board basis.

Day 2 Full Driving Safari - Mikumi National Park Main Destination: Mikumi National Park
Today promises to be an exciting day! After breakfast, you’ll depart with packed lunch boxes from the lodge and head to Mikumi National Park, which is just a short drive away. Upon arrival at the park’s entrance gate, you’ll check in and begin your safari. Mikumi is the second most famous national park in Tanzania, right after Serengeti, and is home to a wide variety of wildlife. You’ll have the opportunity to see large herds of elephants, giraffes, impalas, and antelopes, along with lions, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, as well as wild birds and crocodiles.
At noon, you’ll stop at a scenic rest point for lunch and drinks before continuing your game drive in the park. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to Camp Bastian for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Sunrise Maasai Village Tour - Dar Es Salaam Main Destination: Mikumi National Park
At 5:30 AM, you’ll wake up and set off for a visit to a Maasai village. Accompanied by our driver, you’ll travel to the village deep in the bush to experience the authentic lifestyle of the Maasai people. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with the Maasai, learn about their traditional dances, family life, marriage customs, and the economic activities they pursue to support their way of life. A local Maasai guide, fluent in English, will lead you through the village.
After the visit, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast around 8:00 AM. Once you’ve enjoyed your meal, you’ll pack up and head back to Dar Es Salaam, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
