3-Day Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari and Rhino Tracking

You will be picked up from your place of residence or hotel by our African Expeditions driver/guide at 7:00 am. The drive will take no more than 2 hours. You will drive directly to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your exclusive rhino tracking experience. Thereafter, proceed to Masindi Hotel for your lunch, then continue to the national park for another 2-hour drive. Check in at the lodge and then proceed for your evening game drive. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After having your coffee at 6:00 am, proceed for the game drive at 6:30 am. This is the best time to go for game drives because you have a better chance of seeing one of the Big Five, the lion, as they reside in this national park. You will most definitely see giraffes and elephants, among others. Back from the game drive, have a luxurious full breakfast and then relax by the swimming pool until lunch. After lunch, proceed to the boat cruise trip to the bottom of the falls, where you will see humongous hippos, different bird species, and some of the 76 species of mammals that are found in this national park. The boat cruise usually takes up to 3 hours. The cruise will be concluded with a hike to the top of the falls. You will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

After your breakfast, check out and then proceed for an en-route morning game drive as you're exiting the national park. It is always a different experience every time you have a game drive or simply drive through the park. We will head to the Wankwar Gate to leave the park, and towards the end, you will spot Karuma Falls. Proceed to Kabalega Diners for lunch. After lunch, you will head back to Kampala with a drop-off at your hotel or airport for a late evening flight out.
