On Day 3, explore the northern Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River and Kogatende area, where the Great Migration unfolds. Watch vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles brave the treacherous, crocodile-filled waters of the Mara River. Predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards lurk nearby, creating thrilling wildlife encounters. With expert guides, you'll be in the best locations to witness the drama. On the way, you have the option to visit the famous Olduvai Gorge or an authentic Maasai Village (optional, additional cost). By late afternoon, arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, ready for another captivating day. Spend the night at Ngorongoro Wild Camp situated right on the crater’s edge.

Rise early to descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and “Africa’s Eden.” This UNESCO World Heritage site is a natural haven for wildlife, and today offers the perfect opportunity to spot the Big Five—elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. Enjoy a full day of game viewing on the crater floor, with a break for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Arusha, where your safari ends. You may opt for a transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar, Nairobi, or home.
