Day 1 - Moremi Game Reserve
Your safari adventure begins as you depart from Maun and head into the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana’s most iconic wildlife areas. You will arrive at your mobile safari camp, set in a scenic location near Xini Lagoon, where you’ll settle in. The area is known for its tranquil beauty and excellent wildlife viewing, including leopard sightings, herds of antelope, and the occasional wild dog. Day 2 - Moremi Game Reserve
Today, you’ll venture further north to Xakanaxa, a lush region within the Moremi Game Reserve. This area is renowned for its beautiful floodplains and waterways, attracting large herds of elephants and red lechwe, as well as an abundance of vibrant birdlife. You’ll spend the day exploring this diverse habitat, enjoying game drives and observing the rich wildlife that thrives in this area. The evening will be spent back at your mobile camp, where you can relax around the fire and reflect on your day’s adventures.

Day 3 - Moremi Game Reserve
On the third day, you’ll travel to Bodumatau, a more remote and less-visited area of the Moremi Game Reserve. Known for its open plains, this area is a haven for predators, including lion prides and hyena clans. The landscape is wild and beautiful, offering excellent opportunities for spotting these apex predators. After exploring Bodumatau, you will continue to Third Bridge, a region famous for its mix of wet and dry habitats. This area offers thrilling water crossings and opportunities to see large animals like buffalo, giraffes, and even the elusive sitatunga in the swamps. Another unforgettable evening is spent at your camp, sharing stories under the African sky.

Day 4 - Khwai Concession
After breakfast, you’ll leave Moremi and travel to the Khwai Community Concession, a pristine wilderness area bordering the northeastern edge of Moremi. The concession is managed by the local community, ensuring an intimate and sustainable safari experience. You’ll settle into your mobile camp and enjoy a relaxed game drive in the area. The Khwai region is known for its dense populations of elephants, lions, and leopards. As night falls, you may have the chance to embark on a night drive to spot nocturnal animals.

Day 5 - Khwai Concession
Today, you’ll experience a unique adventure in the Khwai region. After a morning game drive, you’ll take part in a traditional mokoro canoe excursion along the Khwai River. In a mokoro, a traditional dug-out canoe, you’ll glide silently through the lily-covered waterways, observing the quiet beauty of the delta. Your expert polers, from the local community, will guide you as you look out for wildlife like frogs, birds, and perhaps a shy sitatunga hiding among the reeds. The rest of the day will be spent exploring Khwai’s riverine forests, open plains, and winding waterways, with more game drives in search of cheetahs, elephants, and other iconic species.

Day 7 - Savuti Botswana
Your journey continues as you head north to Savuti, a dramatic and arid region within Chobe National Park. Famous for its dramatic landscapes, the Savuti area is a haven for elephants and predators. This is a region where predator sightings are frequent, and you may spot lions, hyenas, and other carnivores roaming the plains. Day 8 - Savuti Botswana
Today, you’ll spend a full day exploring Savuti, tracking lion prides, spotted hyenas, and observing the predator-prey dynamics that unfold in this wild region. Savuti is particularly famous for its intense predator activity, and if you’re lucky, you may witness some dramatic scenes as predators hunt. The area is also home to large herds of elephants that gather around the remaining waterholes during the dry season, often leading to dramatic interactions between the bulls. Today, you’ll travel to the Chobe Riverfront near the town of Kasane, known for its extraordinary concentration of elephants. After settling into your lodge, you’ll embark on a boat cruise on the river, where you can expect to see elephants swimming across the water, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
