Day 1 - Morogoro → Mikumi National Park (Game Drive)
Morning
07:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel or residence in Morogoro.
Depart for Mikumi National Park (about 2 hours’ drive, ~120 km).
Arrive at Mikumi Gate around 09:00 AM, check in, and pay park fees.
Begin your morning game drive across the Mkata floodplains.
Expect to see elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, hippos, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birds.
Afternoon
Around 1:00 PM, stop for lunch (picnic lunch inside the park or hot lunch at Camp Bastian).
Continue your afternoon game drive toward areas like Kikoboga or the hippo pools.
Enjoy the scenic savannah and baobab landscapes with chances to spot predators in the late afternoon.
Evening
Exit the park around 5:30 PM.
Drive a short distance to Camp Bastian Mikumi (just outside the park).
Check-in, freshen up, relax by the pool or bar area.
Dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian.

Late Morning / Afternoon
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Depart from Mikumi.
Drive back to Morogoro with optional photo stops along the way.
