Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha – Overnight Stay
Your expert safari guide will meet you upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the lodge or explore Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub.

Day 2 - Arusha – Drive to Ndutu (Southern Serengeti Plains)
Head to the Ndutu Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem, after breakfast. The journey takes you through Maasai land, the lush Ngorongoro highlands, and into vast open plains dotted with acacia trees.
Between January and March, Ndutu hosts the wildebeest calving season, when more than a million wildebeest gather to give birth. You will see newborn calves taking their first steps, while predators such as lions and cheetahs wait for their opportunity. It is a photographer’s paradise and one of the most amazing sights in the natural world.

Day 3 - Full Day in Ndutu – Wildebeest Calving Season Safari
Optional activities, such as a guided walking safari or a night game drive, may be available depending on your camp.)
Spend the day enjoying thrilling game drives across the Ndutu Plains. This is the best time to witness dramatic predator–prey interactions, as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas closely follow the wildebeest herds.
Along with wildebeests, you will also see zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and elephants, as well as a wide variety of birdlife.

Day 4 - Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Arusha
The famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most well-known safari destinations, is reached by road after an early breakfast. After descending 600 meters to the crater floor, enjoy a half-day game drive. All five of the major animals can be seen here: the rhinoceros, buffalo, elephant, leopard, and lion.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before ascending and driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your journey.
