Day 3 - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will drive towards the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat, coffee, and corn. We will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a sight of unimaginable beauty. This crater was formed 3 million years ago with the explosion of a volcano. Then, we will continue traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti translates to endless plains in Mara, the native language of the Maasai people. We will arrive at the park around midday. The Serengeti is the largest in Tanzania, with diverse landscapes and habitats—grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals searching for food and water as they migrate through the area annually. After an extensive game drive, we will drive you to Signature Serengeti Luxury Camp, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking nearby.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
The breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater's edge reward early risers! After a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and the most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. It is 610m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game-viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. You might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass with a bit of luck. After the game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge.
