Your profile and safaris
Travelers choose operators they can trust at a glance, so the basics matter.
- Keep your company profile complete and truthful: name, logo, description and the countries you operate in.
- Describe each safari accurately: price per person, what is included, and a day-by-day itinerary.
- Write titles and overviews in normal sentences and capitalisation. Text in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is not accepted.
- Review each safari about every six months. We email a link to every safari that needs a look.
A safari marked "Needs update" may be paused until you confirm it is current.
Receiving quote requests
Requests come from real travelers who ask for a quote.
- Traveler contact details stay hidden until you accept the request.
- Accept requests that fit what you offer. Decline only when a request is a genuine mismatch.
- Repeat requests from the same traveler can be treated as duplicates and are not charged again.
If you do not respond, the request is accepted for you after 3 days, as long as your wallet can cover it.
Sending your quote
A quick, clear reply is what wins bookings.
- Reply directly by email, phone or WhatsApp using the details you unlock.
- After you have sent your quote, press "Quote sent". The traveler is asked to confirm they received it.
- If they say they did not, check the email address, resend your quote, and press "Quote sent" again.
The wallet and charges
Accepting a request is paid for from your wallet, using the fee shown in your dashboard.
- Some operators must make a first deposit before accepting requests. Your wallet page tells you if this applies to you.
- Operators in countries where requests are free are not charged.
- Top-ups are paid by card. The card brands accepted are shown on the wallet page and can change.
- Refunds for incorrect platform charges are returned as wallet credit.
Keep your balance above zero so your safaris stay visible.
When an account is restricted
A restriction protects travelers from waiting on an operator who cannot take their request.
- If the wallet goes below zero, or a request closes because the wallet was empty, your listings are hidden, your safaris are paused and new requests stop.
- Top up above zero and the restriction lifts by itself. Safaris the wallet paused go live again without you publishing them.
- A request that closed while you were restricted can be reopened after you top up, for as long as the travel date has not passed. It is then accepted within 3 days, or when you accept it.
A request is never charged once the traveler travel date has passed.
Reviews
Honest reviews build your reputation.
- Travelers can review you after their trip. Reviews are checked before they appear.
- Every review must be genuine and written about your business. Reviews that are changed or invented are rejected.
- Approved reviews count towards your review total and average rating.
- A reviewer can ask for their review to be removed at any time.
Never ask for, write or alter reviews yourself. Doing so can lead to account action.
Time away
Going on a break? Say so, so travelers are not left waiting.
- Switch on Out of Office in your profile and choose the day you are back. Your account switches back on automatically that day.
- While you are away your pages stay reachable by direct link and show that you are not available for new bookings.
What travelers see about your status
We keep travelers informed so they can choose another operator quickly.
- If you cannot take new requests, your pages say "not available for new bookings" and point travelers to similar safaris.
- If SafariVendors has deactivated an account, travelers may also see a short advisory. You are told the reason and what to fix.
Good conduct
Keep the marketplace fair for everyone.
- No misleading prices, copied content, fake or altered reviews, or attempts to get around platform fees.
- Respond professionally and respect travelers and their data.
Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, hidden listings, a restriction, suspension or removal.
