Day 1 Your Mikumi Fly-In Safari Itinerary from Zanzibar Main Destination: Mikumi National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pick-up in Zanzibar and transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for your flight to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival at Kikoboga Airstrip, meet your professional safari guide and begin exploring the famous Mkata Floodplain. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Take a break for a freshly prepared hot lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing your wildlife adventure.
