3-Day Safari from Z'bar - Tarangire Ngorongoro Manyara

Your day begins early with a 6:00 am pick-up (depending on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), and your driver will transfer you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, offering insights into the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people along the way.

Tarangire National Park is famous for its rich biodiversity, including large herds of elephants and varied landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to savannas, with the Tarangire River flowing through the park. During your game drive, you may catch sight of lions hunting or leopards relaxing in the trees above.

You’ll enjoy a packed lunch within the park, and after a thrilling game drive, which concludes around 4:00 pm, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and a peaceful overnight stay.

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an exciting game drive.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, valued for both its natural beauty and cultural importance. As we descend into the crater, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to witness the Big Five—lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos—along with flamingos in the crater lakes. The diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes make this place a true natural wonder, where animal sightings happen almost instantly. Get ready to be immersed in one of the world’s most remarkable ecosystems.

Wake up to a tasty breakfast at 7:00 am as you prepare for the final day of your safari. Today, we’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley. The park is renowned for its diverse landscapes and is home to the famous tree-climbing lions, along with elephants, giraffes, and a variety of bird species around the alkaline Lake Manyara. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you explore the lush forests and expansive savannas.

After your game drive, you’ll return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. Your flight will depart from Arusha Airport at 4:30 pm and arrive in Zanzibar at 5:45 pm.
