Day By Day

3 Day Itinerary

Day 1 Travel to Murchison Falls National Park – Rhino Tracking Main Destination: Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch

Our driver will meet with you at your hotel in Kampala/Entebbe at 7:30 am after breakfast, briefing you about your safari and starting off your 3-day tour. The journey will lead us through the Kampala-Gulu highway with a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2-hour Rhino tracking session. Other wildlife will be spotted like bush bucks, warthogs and occasional leopards. Check out and have your lunch at the Kabalega Dinners. Continue after lunch through the Kafu River bridge to Masindi town and head towards the park through the Kichumbanyobo gate. Baboons will usher you in as you penetrate the Budongo forest. After a 1-hour drive, arrive at the top of the Murchison Falls for relaxation or even photo-taking moments. Check out from the Top of the Falls, and head to your lodge. We have 2 options: sleeping at the lodges on the Southern bank of the river or crossing the Nile ferry and sleeping at the Northern bank.

We shall see lions, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, lots of birds and head back to our lodge for relaxation, have our lunch and wait for the 2:30 pm boat ride on the Nile to further spot buffaloes, elephants, hippos in and by the river drinking water. The black and white colobus monkeys cannot be missed as they jump in the tree branches along the river banks. Crocodiles will be spotted along the rocks in the river and finally the magnificent view of the Murchison Water Falls. Head back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Early Game Drive and Return to Kampala Main Destination: Entebbe International Airport (EBB)

Another game drive as we wind up our trip to Murchison Falls. Relaxed as we have seen almost all the animals, we are now using our eyes and a bit of cameras to capture the last moment. Check out and head back to Kampala/Entebbe Airport for your return flight. To enjoy the most of your safari, the webpage suggests spending a night on the Northern bank as it gives you a chance of a game drive on the arrival day, thus having 3 game drives in total.
