Morning/Afternoon: Depart Dar es Salaam (approx. 6-hour drive) for Mikumi National Park, often stopping for lunch in Morogoro. Late Afternoon: Check into your lodge/camp and head out for an afternoon game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo as the day cools. Evening: Return for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Morning: After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive, exploring the vast Mkata Floodplain, known for its big cats (lions, leopards) and diverse birdlife. Midday: Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the park. Afternoon: Continue exploring different areas, potentially visiting the Hippo Pools to see hippos and crocodiles, or the Vuma Hills. Evening: Head back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, perhaps around a campfire.

Early in the morning have breakfast and check out. On the way to the train station your driver will proceed to explaining as to conclude your trip before leave the park. Afternoon: Begin the scenic drive back to Dar es Salaam, with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
