4-Day Ndutu Migration Safari Tanzania

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Arusha. Drive toward the Ndutu area, passing through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Upon reaching Ndutu, begin your first game drive. During the migration season, the area can attract large concentrations of wildebeest and zebra, together with predators following the herds.

Continue with wildlife viewing before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring the Ndutu plains and Southern Serengeti.

Start with an early morning game drive when wildlife activity is often high. Your experienced safari guide will follow current wildlife movements and select areas offering good opportunities for game viewing.

Depending on the season and local conditions, you may encounter migratory wildebeest and zebra, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas and other predators.

During the calving period, the Ndutu area can provide opportunities to observe young wildebeest and the intense predator activity associated with the migration.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive around Ndutu before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Continue through the dramatic landscapes surrounding the Ngorongoro Highlands. Depending on your itinerary and accommodation location, you may have additional wildlife-viewing opportunities along the route.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp for relaxation and overnight.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

The crater provides excellent opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife within a spectacular natural setting. Look for lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas and other wildlife.

After the crater tour, ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha.
