4 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arusha to Serengeti Np Main Destination: Nothern Serengeti
We will leave Arusha early in the morning and travel to Serengeti National Park. Our route will take us along the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. The golden savannah and endless plains, filled with zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes, clearly illustrate why Serengeti is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.
During the day, we will enjoy a picnic lunch on Naabai Kopje, a small, rocky hill in an otherwise flat area, where you will have the chance to see the Serengeti’s famous pink-headed lizards. After lunch, we will continue our journey further into the plains for a leisurely game drive. You will spend the night in the Serengeti.
Day 2 Full Day Game Drive Serengeti National Park Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
After a nourishing breakfast, continue your journey into the vast plains of the magnificent Serengeti, home to hundreds of animal and bird species. Every moment will awaken your senses as you scan the landscape for new sights and listen to the calls, screeches, buzz, and occasional silence of the African wilderness. The Serengeti is world-famous for its biodiversity, and you may encounter lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and buffalo from the comfort of your jeep. Witness the Great Migration as thousands of zebras and wildebeests cross the plains, pursued by predators fighting to survive. It is a truly humbling natural spectacle. You’ll also discover lesser-known but equally fascinating wildlife, including elands, hyenas, and many more creatures that make this extraordinary landscape unlike anywhere else on Earth.
Day 3 Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
We will start our day with an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti. The savannah is a lively landscape, filled with the melodies of birds as the morning sunlight begins to illuminate the area. Your guide will examine the footprints on the ground in search of predators. Afterwards, we will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast, we will hurry to Ngorongoro Crater, as this is the best time to spot wildlife. On this day, we will enjoy a game drive around the crater and stop for a picnic lunch at a small lake within the park. This lake is home to many hippos and migratory birds, ensuring that our visit will be enjoyable! Thanks to the rich biodiversity within the crater, there is a high possibility of spotting every member of the "Big 5": the ferocious lion, the giant elephant, the stealthy leopard, the charging rhino, and the mighty water buffalo. Ngorongoro Crater is truly an incredible place. Did you know it was formed over two million years ago? A large volcanic eruption caused the volcano to collapse, leaving behind a perfectly intact caldera. Within this stunning crater, you can expect to see playful zebras, lumbering hippos, swift wildebeests, and cackling hyenas. Additionally, flocks of graceful flamingos can often be spotted.
