4 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival & Sunset Boat Safari Main Destination: Okavango Delta
Guests will be picked up from Maun Airport by our guide, Fred, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle, transport from Maun Airport to Boro Boat Station in the Okavango Delta with our Game Viewer. Board our motorized boat and begin your journey to Chief’s Island, where you will arrive at Camp Hippo for the first night of your stay.
Arrive at camp near Chief’s Island and settle into the rhythm of the Delta. After a relaxed lunch and briefing, head out on your first motorized boat safari through winding channels and open lagoons. Keep watch for elephants along the water’s edge, hippos surfacing nearby, and fish eagles calling overhead. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and your first evening under the stars.

Day 2 Exploring the Inner Channels Main Destination: Okavango Delta
An early morning start after breakfast takes you deeper into the waterways surrounding Chief’s Island. The cooler hours are ideal for wildlife activity, with chances to spot crocodiles basking on riverbanks, red lechwe moving across the floodplains, and large buffalo herds pushing through the reeds.
Return to camp for brunch and a relaxed rest during the midday heat. In the afternoon, head out again on a boat safari, drifting through quieter lagoons as the water reflects soft golden light and wildlife gathers along the edges.
The day closes back at camp with dinner under open skies, surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness settling into night.

Day 3 Into the Heart of the Delta Main Destination: Okavango Delta
Begin the day with breakfast at camp before setting out on a guided walking safari, exploring on foot with an experienced guide to discover tracks, birds, plants, and other subtle signs of wildlife.
Return to camp for lunch and relaxation before an afternoon boat trip through scenic waterways. Cruise papyrus-lined channels and open lagoons in search of elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife, with time for relaxed fishing along the way. Return to camp for dinner and an evening around the fire.

Day 4 Farewell to the Delta Main Destination: Maun Airport (MUB)
On your final morning in the Delta, wake to the soft sounds of the bush as the camp stirs gently for the day ahead. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take a final moment to absorb the atmosphere light filtering through the trees, birds calling in the distance, and the quiet rhythm of life in the wilderness.
After breakfast, set out by boat for Boro, gliding once more through the winding channels of the Okavango Delta. This last water journey offers a different perspective of the landscape, as reeds, lagoons, and open waterways slowly give way to the edge of the Delta. From Boro, continue by road to the airport for your onward travel. As your safari comes to a close, you leave with lasting impressions of Botswana’s vast beauty, rich wildlife encounters, and the serene magic of the Delta.
