Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your professional Acatree Tours and Safaris team, who will assist you with luggage and provide a brief overview of your exciting safari adventure ahead. You will then be transferred to Greenside Hotel, a tranquil retreat nestled in the lush landscapes of Arusha, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Take this first day to unwind after your journey, enjoy the lodge’s amenities, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. This is also a perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with your safari guide, review your itinerary, and ask any questions about the upcoming wildlife adventure. In the evening, you'll savour a delicious dinner at the lodge, featuring local and international cuisine, while relaxing and preparing for the adventures that lie ahead in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit.

After an early breakfast at Greenside Hotel, you will depart Arusha and drive south to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse birdlife, offering countless opportunities for photography and wildlife spotting. Upon arrival, you'll embark on an exciting game drive, exploring the park’s scenic landscapes and observing animals in their natural habitat. Keep your camera ready for encounters with zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and the elusive predators that roam the plains. In the late afternoon, you'll check in at Kankari Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The lodge provides comfortable accommodations and excellent views of the park, making it the perfect place to unwind after a full day of safari adventure.

After an early breakfast at Kankari Lodge, you will depart Tarangire and drive toward the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. En route, you'll enjoy the changing landscapes and spot wildlife along the way, including giraffes, zebras, and maybe even lions lounging under the acacia trees. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, exploring the endless savannah and observing the incredible variety of animals that call this park home. From majestic lions and leopards to massive herds of wildebeests and elephants, every moment is a new opportunity for breathtaking wildlife encounters and photography.

You'll start your day with an early morning game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park, where the golden sunrise lights up the savannah and wildlife activity is at its peak. This is an excellent time to spot predators returning from their nightly hunts, as well as herds of wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and elephants roaming freely across the plains. After the game drive and a hearty brunch, you will depart the Serengeti and enjoy a scenic drive toward Karatu, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands with beautiful landscapes along the way. On arrival in Karatu, you'll check in at Kankari Lodge, a cozy retreat offering comfort and stunning views of the surrounding highlands. You'll relax, unwind, and enjoy a delicious dinner as you prepare for the next day’s adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater.

After an early breakfast, you'll depart Karatu and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s unique ecosystem makes it one of the best places in Africa for game viewing in a single day. You'll enjoy a half-day game drive on the crater floor, with opportunities to capture breathtaking photos of both wildlife and the dramatic landscapes. At midday, you'll have a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the crater, often near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, you'll ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, where you will be transferred either to your hotel for an overnight stay or directly to the departure point for your next destination.
