5 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Journey to the Wild - From Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where your private safari guide will be waiting to welcome you.
From Arusha, you'll embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park — a haven of golden grasslands, iconic baobab trees, and one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations. As you journey deeper into the park, you may encounter elephants marching across the plains, tree-climbing leopards resting in the canopy, and vibrant birdlife fluttering through the savannah.
Following your game drive, you will continue to the lush town of Mto wa Mbu, where your luxurious lodge awaits. Surrounded by natural beauty, this is the perfect setting to relax and reflect on your first day in the wild.

Day 2 Into the Serengeti - Landscapes, Lions & Endless Skies Main Destination: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you'll begin your overland journey through the dramatic Ngorongoro Highlands, passing rolling farmlands and Maasai villages nestled along the slopes.
As you descend into the endless plains of the Central Serengeti, the scenery transforms into classic savannah — home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. You'll enjoy a game drive en route, arriving in time for an afternoon of wildlife viewing in the heart of the Serengeti.
By evening, you'll retreat to your luxury tented camp, where the silence of the wilderness and the soft glow of lanterns create a truly magical atmosphere.

Day 3 Calving Season Drama - Central Serengeti National Park to Ndutu Main Destination: Ndutu Plain
Awaken to the sounds of the Serengeti and set out for an optional hot air balloon safari — soaring silently above the plains as the sun rises over the horizon.
After breakfast, you'll enjoy a slow-paced, game-rich drive toward the Ndutu Area, nestled in the southern plains where the great migration’’s calving season unfolds (Jan–March). Here, you may witness thousands of newborn wildebeest calves taking their first steps, and predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs are never far behind.
You'll spend the evening unwinding in your stylish migration camp, ideally positioned to bring you closer to nature’s most dramatic moments.

You'll rise early for a final morning game drive in Ndutu, where predator-prey interactions are at their peak during the calving season. With luck, you may witness a thrilling chase, a tender birth, or a lioness leading her cubs through the plains.
Later, you will begin your transfer game drive back into the Ngorongoro Highlands, ascending into cooler air and forested slopes. You'll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon, where you can relax with warm hospitality and sweeping views of the volcanic landscape.

Day 5 Big Five Finale - Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Today begins with an early descent into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most wildlife-dense locations in Africa. Explore the crater floor on a guided game drive, seeking out lions, buffalo, elephants, flamingos, and — if fortune favors you — the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, you will begin your journey back to Arusha Airport for your scheduled afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a private transfer will return you to your hotel, closing your journey with memories that will last a lifetime.
