Day 1 Drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Later to Murchison Falls National Park Main Destination: Murchison Falls National Park

Your Driver guide will be ready for pick up at your Hotel or preferred pick up point at 7:30 am to start your 6 Days Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls wildlife safari. You will drive north of Uganda with Rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a 2-3 hours tracking session, check out and have lunch at the Kabalega Dinners restaurant on the Kampala-Gulu Highway. Check out and drive via Masindi Town, then check into the Murchison Falls National Park and cross the River Nile with a ferry and check into your chosen lodge. We may have an optional evening Game drive.

Day 2 Game Drive in Murchison Falls and Afternoon Boat Ride with a Hike to the Top of Main Destination: Murchison Falls National Park

Be up by 6:00 am, pick a cup of African Coffee or tea, meet with your driver for your morning 4 hours game drive to spot a number of wildlife. We expect to spot among others, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Elephants, Giraffes and many more. Get back to your lodge for refreshing and lunch as you await your 2 o'clock Boat ride and Hike. Get off at the great view point and hike to the top of the falls where you will meet with the driver and drive round to the Budongo Forest for a night.

Day 3 Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Be up by 6:00 am again, have breakfast at around 6:30 am and check out of the Murchison Falls National Park at exactly 7:00 am. Drive via Masindi, Hoima and Kyenjojo towns to Fort Portal town for Lunch at 1:00 pm, continue for 3 hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Kasese town and check into Mweya Safari Lodge. The drive offers scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the lush countryside of western Uganda.

Day 4 Morning Game Drive and Boat Ride on the Kazinga Channel Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning coffee, continue for a game drive, expect antelopes like Uganda Kobs, elephants, lions and again an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel for yet another chance of seeing more game like crocodiles, hippos and lots of birds. The Kazinga Channel is a natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward, offering excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and a wide variety of water birds along its shores.

Day 5 Full Day in Ishasha for the Tree Climbing Lions Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park

With an early morning breakfast overlooking the Kazinga Channel, drive to Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for yet a great chance of seeing the tree climbing lions. These unique lions are famous for resting in the branches of fig and acacia trees during the heat of the day, a behavior rarely seen elsewhere in Africa. Return later in the evening for an overnight at the Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 6 Travel Back to Kampala Main Destination: Entebbe International Airport (EBB)

Have your coffee at the lodge, travel back to Kampala - lunch enroute, stop over at the Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping. The Equator crossing at Kayabwe offers a memorable photo opportunity with the iconic signpost. Continue the journey and drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your 6 Days Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls wildlife safari.
