9-Day Mid-Range, Kenya and Tanzania Calving Safari Adventures

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to Eka Hotel. Check in, relax after your international journey, and enjoy the hotel facilities. Depending on your arrival time, optional activities may be arranged at an additional cost. In the evening, enjoy dinner and rest before beginning your wildlife adventure in Amboseli National Park the following day.

After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park for an exciting wildlife safari. Famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days, Amboseli offers excellent opportunities to spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and various bird species. After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive toward the Namanga border crossing. Complete immigration and customs formalities before continuing into Tanzania toward Arusha. After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Explore its iconic baobab trees, open savannahs, and riverine habitats while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your wildlife exploration. Later, drive to Farm of Dream Lodge in Karatu for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem. Enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife viewing along the way before exploring the open plains. Ndutu is famous for seasonal wildebeest movements, zebra herds, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. During the calving season, you may witness newborn wildebeest. Spend another day exploring Ndutu’s remarkable wildlife habitats with your experienced safari guide. Search for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs across the plains and woodland areas. Depending on the season, observe migration herds and possibly newborn animals. Enjoy a picnic lunch during your game drive, then continue wildlife viewing before returning to Sero Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, travel toward Central Serengeti for an exciting game drive across its expansive savannahs and rocky kopjes. This wildlife-rich region offers opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue exploring with your guide before heading to Nakupenda Luxury Camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the Serengeti wilderness.

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Explore its diverse habitats, home to elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and numerous other animals. You may also encounter lions and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and continuing to Farm of Dream Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy breakfast at Farm of Dream Lodge before departing for your onward journey. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport as arranged. If time permits, you may enjoy a short stop along the way.
