5-Day Wonderful Safari Zanzibar to Nyerere NP by Flight

Our professional driver will pick you from the Hotel to Zanzibar International Airport for flying to Nyerere National Park. After arrival you start the journey to Selous Game Reserve with our professional driver and tour guide.

At Selous game reserve you will do full day drive, In the afternoon you will get a packed launch and time to rest. Then continuing with the game until sunset, where you will be back at Selous Safari Lodge for dinner, sleeping and preparation for the next schedule.

In the morning you will before breakfast you will do bush walking Safari for 1 hour and Half then back for breakfast. From 10AM you will do a village tour at Mloka village until the time of lunch, you will be back at the camp for lunch. At 4:00 PM you will go to the Rufiji River for a boat safari until sunset where you will be back at Selous Safari Lodge for Dinner, sleeping and preparation for the next day's schedule.

After breakfast, you will do another full-day game drive until evening. Go on different routes from the previous day, starting from the lodge or Camp where you will be picked up by our professional drivers and guides. Today, you will get to see various animals including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope and more. You will also see birds, landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.

You will also get a chance to visit a hotspring and even go swimming, but it depends on the accessibility of the road to the location, since during the rainy season, there will be mud on the road.

In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and some time to rest, then continue with the game drive. In the evening, you will return to lodge or camp for dinner, sleep and to preparation for tomorrow.

After breakfast, you will do a full-day boat safari from 7:30 am until the evening at Rufiji River inside Nyerere National Park, The journey will start from the camp or lodge where you will be picked up by our professional drivers to the Rufiji River, the biggest and longest river in Tanzania. It is approximately 600 kilometers (370 miles) long, with its source in southwestern Tanzania and its mouth on the opposite side of the Indian Ocean. The river has many attractions including crocodiles, hippos, river cliffs, birds and other animals such as elephants come to drink water, and many more tourist attractions that you can enjoy.

In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and some time to rest, then continue with the boat safari until sunset. Return to camp or lodge for dinner, sleep and preparation for the last day.

After breakfast around 08AM driver will pick you up to Maasai Village. At Village you will learn learn Maasai Culture for 2 to 3 hours then back at camp/lodge for lunch. After lunch you will have time to rest then will be picked up to Mtemere Airstrip for flying back Zanzibar around 04PM. After arriving in Zanzibar our driver will wait there for a drop off at your Hotel.
