Day 1 Salaam Cave Turtle Swim and Kizimkazi Village Main Destination: Zanzibar

Your driver collects you from your hotel in Paje, Jambiani, Pingwe or Kizimkazi for the short drive to Kizimkazi Mkunguni. Spend time in the village and along the coast with your guide, then head to Salaam Cave, a natural turquoise pool among the rocks where rescued sea turtles live. After a safety briefing you swim near the green and hawksbill turtles and learn about their care and the conservation work that supports them. Food and drinks are included. The whole trip takes three to four hours including transfers.
