13 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Uganda Main Destination: Entebbe International Airport (EBB)
Today you will land in Uganda at Entebbe International Airport. After the immigration and baggage claim, a representative from Unzip Africa will be waiting for you at arrivals. Our representative will transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 Road Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi. Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, you will embark on another journey from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will make your first stop at the equator and thereafter continue to your lunch spot halfway through the journey. After lunch, expect a scenic drive through one of Uganda's most scenic regions, leading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On arrival, check into your lodge on the boundaries of Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest and have a relaxing evening as the day comes to an end.

Day 3 Gorilla Trekking Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The big day is finally here. It's time to enter the impenetrable rainforest in search of the mountain. Gorillas. But just before that, after a healthy breakfast, you will join the rest of the tourists for a short brief about the adventure ahead of you; thereafter, you will be divided into small groups of 8 based on your assigned gorilla family you will be tracking for the day. You will then head into the forest in search of this family. On encountering the gorilla family, you will be given 1 hour with the gorillas, and after that you will be led out of the forest and reunited with your guide and awarded a certificate.

Day 4 Fly to Tanzania Main Destination: Arusha
Today your guide will transfer you to Kisoro Airport to catch your bush flight back to Entebbe International Airport, where you will then catch your flight to Tanzania. On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Unzip Africa will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for tonight in Arusha.

Day 5 Arusha to Lake Manyara Main Destination: Karatu
After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. You’ll spot elephants roaming through the forest, giraffes grazing along the shoreline, and flocks of flamingos colouring the lake pink. The Treetop Walkway takes you above it all, walking through the forest canopy for a perspective on nature you won’t forget.
In the afternoon, step into the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu. Home to over 120 ethnic tribes, this is Tanzania’s cultural heartbeat. Watch Makonde woodcarvers at work, sample local banana beer, and explore the bustling market. It’s real, it’s alive, and it’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Day 6 Karatu to Serengeti National Park. Main Destination: Central Serengeti
After your breakfast, you will continue to Serengeti National Park, the world’s most iconic wilderness. Roll across the vast, golden plains as you keep your eyes open for majestic predators on the hunt and the great herds that roam freely across the landscape.

Day 7 Hot Air Balloon and Game Drive. Main Destination: Central Serengeti
Today expect an early day. You will be picked up early in the morning and transferred to the hot air balloon takeoff point. You will be prepared for the flight, and at sunrise you will hit the skies to view the sun as it rises over the Serengeti. On landing you will be welcomed with champagne and a bush breakfast in the middle of the wild, and after you will be reconnected back to your guide to continue with your game drive in the Serengeti to search for more wildlife.

Day 8 Transfer to Ngorongoro Via Olduvai Gorge Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater
Your morning will kick off with one final game drive through the Serengeti, a last chance to soak in the endless plains before exiting to your next destination. Your journey will continue toward the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, with two incredible stops along the way. You will experience the traditional Maasai village and get a glimpse into a way of life that has stood the test of time, and after, explore the Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important palaeoanthropological sites in the world, where the story of human origins begins to unfold.
You will then continue to your lodge near the crater rim to soak in the breathtaking scenery as the day comes to an end.

Day 9 Explore Ngorongoro Crater and Continue to Tarangire National Park. Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Early in the morning, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside one of nature’s greatest amphitheatres. In the crater floor you will be on the search for lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes, all sharing this incredible enclosed world. You will then settle in for a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, one of the crater’s most memorable spots, before heading back out for the afternoon drive.
As the day winds down, the road leads you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees that rise dramatically against the African sky. Arrive at camp as evening falls, with dinner and a well-earned rest waiting for you.

Day 10 Explore Tarangire and Fly to Zanzibar Main Destination: Zanzibar North
Today you will explore Tarangire on a guided game drive through the baobab trees in search of lions, elephants and much more wildlife the park has got to offer. offer. You will then break off for a picnic lunch and after transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to the tropical island of Zanzibar.
Enjoy the vibrant evening in Stone town as the day comes to an end.

Day 11 Explore Ston Town Main Destination: Zanzibar North
After breakfast, embark on a guided Stone Town tour, where you’ll explore the historic Former Slave Market, Old Fort, House of Wonders, and vibrant local markets. Stroll through narrow streets, admire the unique architecture, and visit the Hindu temple and Freddie Mercury’s house. You will the continue north wards to relax on the white sand beach of Kendwa.

Day 12 Enjoy the White Wand Beach of Kendwa. Main Destination: Zanzibar North
Relax and soak in Northern Zanzibar’s white sand beaches.
Feel free to visit the Mnarani Natural Aquarium in Nungwi, home to rescued sea turtles, where you can swim with these gentle creatures in a natural lagoon.
Spend the afternoon at leisure on the beach or enjoy optional water sports like snorkelling or dhow sailing.

Day 13 End of Safari - Transfer to the Airport. Main Destination: Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the sea before your private transfer back to Zanzibar Airport for your onwards flight.
Depending on your schedule, optional stops at local markets or souvenir shops can be arranged.
This marks the end of 13 days of Ugandan and Tanzanian adventure.
