2 Day Itinerary

Day 1 Zanzibar to Nyerere Np Doing Game Drive Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park

Pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar between 04:00–05:00 AM, depending on your hotel location, and transfer to the airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park.

On arrival, meet your safari guide and start a full-day game drive inside the park. You may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos, crocodiles, and different bird species.

Lunch will be served during the safari. Later, drive to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Rufiji River Boat Safari, Maasai Culture Tour & Fly Back to Zanzibar Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a 2–3 hour boat safari on the Rufiji River outside the park, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, birds, and beautiful river scenery.

After the boat safari, visit a Maasai village for a 2-hour cultural tour and learn about their traditional lifestyle, customs, and local community.

Later, transfer to Mtemere Airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar at around 04:00 PM. On arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
