3 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Nyerere NP for afternoon Boat Safari Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park
In the morning at 8:00 am, you will depart for Nyerere National Park. The journey to Selous will take about 4 to 4 and a half hours. You will arrive for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you will have a nap then you will go out for an afternoon boat safari along the mighty Great Rufiji River which starts from 4:00 pm until sunset.
Boat safari brings you into close contact with hippos, crocodiles, and fantastic bird life. Animals make their way to the river to drink and boats may approach some animals on the river banks to within a few meters. Crocodiles glide into the water as your boat approaches and hippos appear in frightening proximity, grunting and blowing steam.

Day 2 Full Day game Drive in Nyerere National Park Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park
You will leave the lodge after early breakfast for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch in Nyerere National Park until sunset.
An exploration of the park by 4WD vehicle will permit you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of the vast park. Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania, covering an area of 30,893 square kilometers. Nyerere National Park is famous for its elephants, commonly seen are lions, wild dogs, buffalos, bushbucks, impalas, elands, baboons, zebras, wildebeests, and greater kudus.

Day 3 Walking Safari then drive to Dar es Salaam. Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park
You will wake up early in the morning and have a cup of coffee or tea, then go out for a wilderness walking safari with the guidance of an armed ranger which will take about two to two and a half hours.
A walking safari will give you a particularly intimate feel for the African wild. You will get the chance to touch nature and see the different footprints and droppings of different wild animals and small creatures that you can’t see during the game drive. After the walking safari, you will go back to the camp/ lodge for breakfast. Later, you will pack your stuff and start driving back to Dar es Salaam with a lunch pack.
On arrival you will be dropped off at your hotel, ferry, or airport for your next destination.
