Day 1 - Dar es Salaam – Mikumi NP

Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up from your hotel or the airport and begin your safari adventure with a drive to Mikumi National Park. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings. Upon reaching Mikumi, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village and engage with the local community. A first dream safari

We had an amazing day trip safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park with Mchakamchaka Tours. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, including the flights, park entry, and safari vehicle.
Our guide was highly professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Despite it being a one-day trip, we were able to see many animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and lions. The guide’s experience made a big difference in spotting wildlife and explaining everything clearly.
The safari vehicle was comfortable, and the picnic lunch was well prepared. Time was well managed, allowing us to fully enjoy the park before flying back to Zanzibar the same day.
This was a perfect option for anyone with limited time who still wants a real Tanzanian safari experience. We highly recommend Mchakamchaka Tours and would definitely choose them again for another safari in Tanzania.
