Day 1 - Zanzibar to Selous/Nyerere National Park

In the morning you will picked up from your hotel and transfered to the airport for your 30-minutes flight set at 6:00 to nyerere national park( formerly selous game reserve). Upon you arrived at mtemere airport you will picked up with professional driver guide and give you vital information about whole safari and begin game drive safari you will have a full game drive, with your packed lunch in noon time while stop the lunch you will be already spot some different animals in their natural habits like zebras,giraffe, buffalo,kudu, impala,hippos, elephants. After lunch you having a little resting around 3:30pm you take the way back ready for flight to zanzibar 4:20pm take off time for flight

A first dream safari

We had an amazing day trip safari from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park with Mchakamchaka Tours. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, including the flights, park entry, and safari vehicle.
Our guide was highly professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Despite it being a one-day trip, we were able to see many animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and lions. The guide’s experience made a big difference in spotting wildlife and explaining everything clearly.
The safari vehicle was comfortable, and the picnic lunch was well prepared. Time was well managed, allowing us to fully enjoy the park before flying back to Zanzibar the same day.
This was a perfect option for anyone with limited time who still wants a real Tanzanian safari experience. We highly recommend Mchakamchaka Tours and would definitely choose them again for another safari in Tanzania.
