5 Day Itinerary
Day 1 Pick up from hotel - travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After your breakfast, your driver/tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Masaka-Mbarara with a stopover at the equator for coffee, take plenty of pictures, and proceed with your journey to Bwindi with a stop in Mbarara for lunch. Upon your arrival to Bwindi, you will check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Mountain Gorilla tracking Bwindi Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will have a briefing at the park headquarters for a few minutes briefing before you venture out into the thick canopies of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park to search out for the gentle giants (Gorillas). You will be allowed one hour to observe them and take as many pictures as you like. Return to the lodge for some refreshments before setting out for a cultural experience with the Batwa, an indigenous community of the Ituri forest in Congo. You will get to learn so much from these unique people and their culture. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Community walk and transfer to Queen Elizabeth in Ishasha Tree climbing lions Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast, you will check out of the safari lodge and with your packed lunch, drive to Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park to see the tree-climbing lions and after drive to your safari lodge, check in and later set out for an evening game drive in a different sector of queen. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Morning Game drive and Boat cruise along Kazinga channel Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park
This day starts with an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queen’s mile tracks a good chance to see lots of wildlife here. Return to your lodge for a full breakfast and get some time to relax before your next adventure after lunch. Later after lunch, you will go for a thrilling boat cruise on Kazinga channel, a good chance to see the aquatic wild, lots of other animals on the shores quenching their thirst and the prolific birdlife is unbelievable here. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge and travel back to Kampala Main Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast and checking out of the safari lodge you will drive to Kyambura gorge and have a briefing just before going deep into the forest to track man’s closest relative, the chimpanzees and other primates. The chimpanzees are quite mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but the walk is a great adventure. After Chimpanzee tracking, you will exit the park, driving to Kampala with a stop at Igongo cultural center for lunch and an educative experience about culture. Continue with your drive to Kampala and drop off will be at any location of preference.
