8-Day Uganda Wildlife Safari Adventure

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you'll be welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the beautiful Entebbe Botanical Gardens, where towering trees, colorful birds, and playful monkeys provide a peaceful introduction to Uganda.

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda's rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned as the primate capital of East Africa. In the afternoon, have an optional exploration to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary on a guided community walk, where you'll discover rich birdlife, several monkey species, and learn how local communities benefit from conservation and ecotourism.

Begin the day with an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced rangers, venture into the rainforest in search of habituated chimpanzees and spend one memorable hour observing their fascinating behavior. After lunch, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive, where you'll search for elephants, buffalo, antelopes, lions, and other wildlife as the sun sets over the savannah.

Start the morning with a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, one of Uganda's finest wildlife-viewing areas. Look out for lions, elephants, hyenas, Uganda kobs, warthogs, buffalo, and numerous bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense populations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and spectacular water birds.

After breakfast, set off for a beautiful countryside to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge while preparing for the highlight of your safari or have an optional visit to the batwa community depending on the arrival time.

Today's adventure is the highlight of your safari. After an early briefing, set off on a guided gorilla trek through Bwindi's ancient rainforest. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing a mountain gorilla family in its natural habitat. After this extraordinary wildlife encounter, transfer to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi, famous for its terraced hills, peaceful islands, and spectacular scenery.

Enjoy a relaxing morning canoe or motorboat excursion on Lake Bunyonyi before traveling to Lake Mburo National Park. In the evening, embark on a guided night game drive, offering opportunities to spot nocturnal wildlife including leopards, hyenas, bush babies, genets, and porcupines.

Complete your safari with a guided walking safari accompanied by a Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger. Explore the park on foot while observing zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, and other wildlife from a unique perspective. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe with an optional stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs and souvenir shopping before your airport drop-off.
