How to ask for a safari quote

What to put in your request so operators can send you a useful, accurate price the first time.

Asking for a quote on SafariVendors is free. You choose a safari you like, tell the operator about your trip, and they reply with a price and a plan. The more clearly you describe your trip, the better the reply.

Two ways to ask

  • Quote request: open a safari you like and send a request to that operator.
  • Custom request: describe the trip you want once and send it to several operators at the same time, so you can compare their ideas.

What to include

  • Your travel dates, or a rough month if you are still deciding.
  • How many adults and children are travelling, and the children's ages.
  • Your comfort level: budget camping, mid-range lodges or luxury.
  • Your budget per person, if you have one. It helps operators suggest something realistic.
  • Must-see places or animals, and anything you want to avoid.
  • Special needs such as dietary requirements, mobility, or a celebration like a honeymoon.
TipYou will be asked to confirm your email address so operators know the request is from a real person. Use an email you check often, because replies come there.

Save time next time

You can choose to keep your name, email and trip details on your own device, so your next request is pre-filled. Nothing is sent anywhere for this, and you can clear it at any time from the form.
