What happens after you send a request

From your request to a confirmed trip: who sees what, how long replies usually take, and what to do if you hear nothing.

  1. You send your request. Operators receive your trip details, such as dates, group size and preferences.
  2. Your contact details stay private until an operator accepts your request. Accepting is the operator's way of saying they can help you.
  3. The operator contacts you with a quote and answers your questions.
  4. You compare offers, ask for changes, and choose the one you trust.
  5. You confirm and pay the operator directly, following the payment steps they give you.

How long should I wait?

Many operators reply within one to two days, but safaris take planning, so a detailed itinerary can take longer, especially in busy seasons. If a few days pass with no reply, send your request to another operator or use the custom request to reach several at once.

Is there a cost to me?

No. Sending requests and receiving quotes is free for travellers. The platform is paid by operators when they accept a request, so you never pay SafariVendors to compare offers.

ImportantYour safari payment is an arrangement between you and the operator. Read their payment terms and cancellation rules before you pay anything.
