How reviews and ranking work

What decides where your safaris appear in search, and how traveller reviews build trust.

When a traveller searches, SafariVendors decides the order of results. Several things count, and the strongest are the ones travellers care about: trust and quality.

What counts

  • Reviews and ratings from real travellers are looked at first.
  • A complete, accurate company profile and safari pages with clear itineraries and photos.
  • Your bid on the safari: a higher bid can help visibility among comparable safaris.
  • How reliably you respond to requests.

Reviews

Reviews are written by travellers about their experience with you. You can invite your past guests to review you, and you can report a review you believe breaks the rules. Honest, consistent service is the best way to build a strong profile.

The full ranking criteria are described on the Ranking Criteria page.
