How SafariVendors works for tour operators

What the platform is, how travellers find you, and what the relationship looks like from listing to booking.

SafariVendors is a marketplace where travellers browse safaris, compare operators and ask for quotes. As an operator you list your company and your safaris, receive quote requests, and deal with travellers directly. Bookings and payments are between you and the traveller.

The journey

  1. You register, complete your company profile and list your safaris.
  2. Travellers search by destination, duration, budget or activity and open your safari page.
  3. They send a quote request. Their contact details stay hidden at this point.
  4. You review the request and, if you can help, you accept it. Accepting unlocks their contact details.
  5. You send your quote and agree the trip directly with the traveller.

What you keep control of

  • Your prices, itineraries and availability.
  • Which requests you accept.
  • How you talk to travellers and how you take payment.

Listing safaris and browsing requests is free. A fee applies only when you accept a request. The next guide explains it.
