Day 1 Nyerere National Park Full-Day Safari from Dar Es Salaam Main Destination: Nyerere (Selous) National Park

Your driver-guide collects you very early from your hotel in Dar es Salaam for the drive south to Nyerere National Park. After entering the park you spend several hours on game drives through woodland, grassland and along the lakes and channels of the Rufiji River, looking for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, hippos and crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. In the afternoon you drive back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening. This is a long day, so bring snacks and a light jacket for the early start.
