Today you will land in Uganda at Entebbe International Airport. After the immigration and baggage claim, a representative from Unzip Africa will be waiting for you at arrivals. Our representative will transfer you to your hotel for your overnight stay.

Today you will officially start your great adventure through the Pearl of Africa. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and start your journey to Uganda's oldest and largest national park, Murchison Falls National Park. You will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino trekking and thereafter break off for lunch before continuing to Murchison Falls National Park. You will then visit the top of the Murchison Falls, where you will get your first view of the world's most powerful waterfall. Here you will witness the Nile squeezing through a narrow 8-metre-wide gorge before plunging 45 metres into the Devil’s Cauldron below, sending up a thunderous roar and a permanent rainbow mist.

You will then continue to your lodge for check-in and an overnight stay.

Murchison Falls National Park is blessed with a diverse ecosystem and rich wildlife. Today you will start your day with an early morning game drive in search for lions, elephants, and giraffes, among other animals. During the game drive, be on the lookout for what the day will have to offer. After the game drive you will return to your lodge for lunch and thereafter prepare for an afternoon boat safari to the bottom of the falls. During the boat safari, expect to see some crocodiles, hippos, buffalos and many other animals and many bird species.

After the boat safari you will head back to your lodge for an evening relaxation and overnight stay.

Today you will embark on another drive from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park. This journey will lead you from the northern part of Uganda to western Uganda. You will have a lunch stop en route. The journey will take you through scenic tea plantations. Feel free to make as many stops as you wish to take some pictures. You will reach your lodge in the late afternoon hours for check-in and an overnight stay.

After your breakfast, your guide will drive you to the briefing centre, Kanyanchu, where you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then be assigned a group you will be trekking with today. The rangers will lead you into the forest to search for the chimpanzees. On encountering them, you will be given 1 hour with them before you are led back to the starting point to reunite with your guide.

You will then continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, just 2 hours away from Kibale National Park.

Today you will have your second safari. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular and biodiverse safari destination, offering breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. Sitiated along the equator, the park features monuments marking the exact spot where it crosses latitude 00, adding to its uniqueness.

During the game drives, be on the lookout for lions, buffalos, elephants and much more wildlife the park may have to offer. You will then drive back to your lodge for lunch, and after lunch you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you will have more wildlife encounters.

After the boat safari, you will return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Today you exit Queen Elizabeth National Park and continue with your adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive will take you through the most scenic parts of Uganda. Enjoy the hilly and winding road of southwestern Uganda. On arrival at your lodge facing the Bwindi Impenetrable Rainforest, feel free to check in and have a relaxed afternoon at the lodge, or you can have a community visit, which can be arranged at the lodge.

The big day is finally here. It's time to enter the impenetrable rainforest in search of the mountain. Gorillas. But just before that, after a healthy breakfast, you will join the rest of the tourists for a short brief about the adventure ahead of you; thereafter, you will be divided into small groups of 8 based on your assigned gorilla family you will be tracking for the day. You will then head into the forest in search of this family. On encountering the gorilla family, you will be given 1 hour with the gorillas, and after that you will be led out of the forest and reunited with your guide and awarded a certificate.

You will then be transferred to your next lodge at Lake Bunyonyi for an afternoon of relaxation by the lake.

Today you will have a relaxed day. Take time to explore some of the beautiful islands of Lake Bunyonyi on a boat. You will also take a short community hike to enjoy the views of Lake Bunyonyi from higher ground. There is no better place to slow down your trip than Lake Bunyonyi.

Today you will continue with your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have an evening walking safari and get a close encounter with the girrafes and the zebras. This is another way of experiencing a safari from a different perspective and a perfect way to end your safari.

Today you will mark the end of your 11-day safari in Uganda. After your breakfast you will start your journey back to Entebbe to catch your international flight. Your guide will transfer you to the airport. We advise that you book an evening flight out of Entebbe.
